We recommend taking a travel insurance for all trips. This is essential in case of a sickness.
Travel operator is not responsible for the voluntary insurances that might be needed, but the traveller theirselves.
Changes to flights depend on the regulations of the airlines. Changes might change the price. After payment date-, flight-, or name changes are not always possible. Be certain you give us the correct information when making a reservation.
Hotels are usually more flexible with changes, but they have their own special conditions. If changes are needed, the price might change.
Deviating from normal package tour conditions (YVE 4,5 and 8), we operate by the following terms:
When cancelling services from other operators( Airlines, hotels, ticket-offices etc.), we follow the regulations set by the operators. The price that the operator charges Star Tours oy, is also charged from the customer.
If the customer is not able to join the trip due to lack in documents (passport, visa), the client is not entitled to a refund.
If the traveller is faced with an unexpected and a serious event, and they have the right to cancel the trip according to the package tour law 15 §:n 1 mom. 3 , Star Tours Oy has the right to claim the expenses charged by a service producer (airline, hotel etc.) + an office fee 80€/person. Sudden obstacle for participation must be proved with a doctor's certificate or otherwise reliable written document stating the reason.
We strongly recommend taking a travel insurance, that includes a cancellation safety regulations.
Pleaso note, singular services (such as plane tickets or a hotel reservations) do not follow the common package tour conditions.
Invoices must be paid at the expiration date mentioned in the invoice. Most of the time payment should be done immediately after reservation, due to hotel and airline conditions.
In case of lack in payment, Star Tours Oy has the right to cancel the customer's trip.
Payment and cancellation policy for groups is to be discussed separately.
A traveller has a responsibility to check the validity of their reservation info. In case there is a mistake, please contact the agency.
Especially important is that the name you announce us is written as in the passport!
If there is a mistake in the name, Star Tours Oy is not responsible for possible consequenses.
A binding contract is made, when the payment has been completed.
Airlines might have to change their timetables and routes before or during the trip.
We'll inform our customers about possible changes before trips via mail, email or phone.
We recommend tickets with change- and cancellation possibilities. We follow airline's own cancellation-and refund policies.
According to the normal package tour conditions, part 2.6, traveler is responsible for documents needed at the trip( information provided by the agent).
Startours is not responsible for any problems the traveler might have due to incomplete or faulty travel documents.
Visas are needed for example in these often traveled to countries: USA, China, Cuba, Australia, india, Russia
When traveling to America, ESTA-form needs to be filled
Star Tours is not responsible for consulates's decisions concerning visas.
Our trips do not include insurances.
We strongly recommend that you take a travel insurance.
